Privacy Policy

The short version

Your PDFs are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We never see your documents or their contents. The only personal data we hold is what’s needed to run your account and your subscription.

What we collect

• ✓ Account data: your email address, display name, and authentication metadata, handled by our auth provider (Supabase).
• ✓ Billing data (only if you subscribe): we do not currently process any payments. Should paid subscriptions become available and you purchase one, subscription status and payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never store full card numbers.
• ✓ Minimal technical data: basic, security- and reliability-related logs from our hosting provider (Cloudflare).

What we do NOT collect

The contents of your PDFs, the field values you enter, and the files you open. All of that stays on your device. There are no document uploads, and we run no analytics on your document contents.

How we use your data

To create and secure your account, send essential service notices, and comply with legal obligations. If we offer paid subscriptions in the future, we will also use billing data to provide premium features, process payments, and send billing notices. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We share the limited data above only with the processors that operate the Service on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and account database) and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery). If we offer paid subscriptions in the future, Stripe will process payments. Each processes data under its own terms.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in across our site and app, and a preference cookie to remember your theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention & deletion

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active or as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can delete your account at any time from your settings; doing so removes your account data and cancels any active subscription.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@mokt.io to make a request.

Security, children & changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. The Service is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
